4. Step 1: Counselling Registration and Fee Payment
Counselling registration is a separate process from exam registration and must be completed even if you already have an account on the TS LAWCET portal from the exam stage.

Rank options by where you would actually want to study, not by perceived difficulty of getting in. The system already accounts for competition through your rank.
Include safety options
After your top choices, add mid-tier and safer government-aided or private colleges so a technical glitch or an unexpectedly high cutoff does not leave you with no allotment at all.
Check previous-year cutoffs

7. Step 4: Seat Allotment Rounds Explained
